The CVFSA Insurance Program provides the most complete and comprehensive insurance protection available to volunteer fire fighters. This is the largest part of the reason that they have become a partner of the Volunteer Firefighters Association of BC.

The CVFSA plan was the first in Canada to provide Blanket Sickness coverage for On Duty incidents. It continues to offer the broadest definitions for who is covered for what and when. The plan includes a less restrictive definition for Total Disability and has no exclusions for either pre-existing conditions or Sport Injuries. Even its’ Partial Disability benefit pays the largest benefit for the longest duration of time. It also offers a unique feature that will extend the disability benefit, after recovery, if a members employment is terminated while they are on claim.
